2025 Telstra NATSIAA Awards Ceremony and Concert – FREE
Friday 8 August | Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (MAGNT), Darwin
The Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (MAGNT), in partnership with Telstra, warmly invites the community to a vibrant evening of music, art and culture on Friday, 8 August 2025, for the 42nd Telstra
National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards (NATSIAA). Held on Larrakia Country at MAGNT in Darwin, this free, family-friendly event blends the prestige of Australia’s most celebrated Indigenous art awards with a sunset concert featuring some of Australia’s finest First Nations performers.
This year’s Telstra NATSIAA Awards Ceremony will feature a stunning musical lineup that showcases the unique sounds of three First Nations artists.
Headlining the event is Velvet Trip, led by Dharug-descended artist Zeppelin Hamilton, delivering soul-infused psychedelia layered tunes with cultural storytelling and social commentary. Their genre-defying sound has made waves on national stages and will bring vibrant energy to the evening.
